Studied at and graduated from the Eötvös Loránd University School of Law, Budapest, in 1973. Postgraduate studies in 1973 at Zhdanov University, St. Petersburg.

Legal advisor to foreign trade companies between 1974 and 1989. Co-author of the seminal book "Hungarian Business Law" and author of various publications in the field of company law, arbitration, project finance and environmental protection law. Qualified "foreign trade expert" lawyer since 1980, and officially registered public procurement manager and expert since 2005. In 1989, established the predecessor to the Hungarian office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Founder and name partner of Oppenheim.
