The book - prepared with the assistance of the antitrust, competition and trade practice group of Oppenheim - describes the various national rules regarding merger control in respect of 74 different legal systems – including Hungary and the European Union.

The publication offers answers to the same questions regarding each legal system, e.g. "What is the relevant legislation and who enforces it?", "What are the jurisdictional thresholds?", "What are the deadlines for filing?" or "What is the substantive test for clearance?". The texts provide brief but concise answers to the proposed questions, which makes it extremely easy to observe the similarities and discrepancies between the different legal systems.
