New Commentary to the Competition Act released – author of the parts on cartel prohibition: Gábor Fejes

The new Commentary to the Hungarian Competition Act was recently released. The 800 pages volume is published by the Hungarian Competition Authority (Gazdasági Versenyhivatal – GVH).

The editor of the book is Mr Miklós Juhász, the President of the GVH, Mr András Tóth, the President to the Competition Council of the GVH and Ms Dorina Juhász-Ruszthi, a prominent member of Competition Council of the GVH.

We are proud that Gábor Fejes, the head of Oppenheim’s antitrust, competition and trade practice group authored the part covering Articles 11 to 13 of the Hungarian Competition Act, relating to one of the most important areas of substantive competition law, the cartel prohibition (the national equivalent to Article 101 (1) TFEU).

On the occasion of the publication of the Commentary, the GVH organized a conference which was hosted by the Kúria (the Supreme Court of Hungary) and was opened by Mr Péter Darák, the President of the Kúria.
